Façade Refurbishment & Cladding REMEDIATION
Coordinated façade replacement strategy for a multi-storey residential building with non-compliant cladding.
Royce Projects Group was engaged to manage façade rectification for a multi-storey building affected by non-compliant cladding and related envelope issues. This anonymised case study highlights RPG’s approach to scope definition, consultant coordination and delivery management for complex façade works.
KEY OUTCOMES
Façade compliance risk converted into a defined rectification programme
Specialist consultant team coordinated around scope and buildability
Procurement and risk allocation structured more clearly
Long-term façade safety and durability improved
THE CHALLENGE
Cladding projects frequently become high-risk due to unclear scope, evolving compliance requirements and uncertainty during construction. The owner needed a clear path from problem identification to controlled façade replacement.
WHAT WE DID
RPG reviewed the façade condition, engaged relevant specialists
and coordinated the design pathway for compliant replacement materials, sequencing and access. Once the scope was suitably defined, we managed procurement and administered delivery with close attention to programme, stakeholder communication and commercial control.
OUTCOME
The project progressed from uncertainty to a structured façade replacement programme with stronger compliance certainty and improved long-term asset performance
